A life-long dream for many brides is to have "fairy tale" wedding and to be a "princess" for the day. The centre pirce of such a wedding has to be the arrivalof the bride in a carriage which is perfect in every way. To make such a dream come true we have created our "Princess" service in which every part of thepresentation is the very peak of perfection, the carriage, which is the principal feature of the "Princess" service is our barouche landau, one of the finesthorse-drawn vehicles in the country and unquestionably the pride of our collection. |

Baroughes were luxurious open carriages used throughout the 1800's and were popular with the wealthy as a park or town vehicle. They were expensiveto maintain because fashion dictated that a barouche should have horses of a superior quality to those used for other carriages. Our barouche was built in1830 for a lady who loved to be driven around the park so everyone could see and admire her and of course her horses. |

Two years ago we found the barouche in a very dilapidated condition, badly attacked by woodworm, the metal work all rusty and the upholstery in rags. After many months of hard work the barouche has been restored to its original condition and splendour. The rich dark green coach work, the soft lightcoloured upholstery and the shining brasswork make a perfect setting for your day as a "Princess". Other brides may have a carriage for their weddingbut no one will be able to match you. |
